I wanted to write piano style guitar piece to celebrate the legacy of one of the worlds greatest guitarists. I wanted to it to piano style because I wanted to avoid any of the guitar cliches or quotes that so often slip into dedication pieces. Despite this songs compositional simplicity I find it really works with listeners which is mostly I believe down to the constant movement and sweetness of the melody.
